I was just wondering what insurance companies you guys are with
(if with any)
I want to insure my walkinshaw but want the best possible insurance.

What sort of dollars are they being valued at by shannons? I got a quote on mine at agreed 30K (I specified) but I'm thinking thats too low now after hearing what they are going for. The problem is the premium to pay for a car I may drive 20 times in a year.
I guess thats the price we pay for owning a collectable;)
I also have all the contacts in the trade to get it fixed very cheap if ever crashed... but if it gets stolen how would you ever replace it anyway? do you just have to take the money and run:eek:

i have a limited usage agreed value with shannons for $85,000 and annual premium is $650.00. prior to shannons i never had the walky insured as i dont believe in it but because of the recent value influx i mainly done it for theft purposes. all my cars which i have had 3 group a"s have never been insured.so i thought this price was very good considering i really didnt have a no claim bonus to go on but i am 43 with a clean driving record driving heavy vehicles all my life.

I've got my Walky(151000kms)and GTSR(158000kms)insured through Shannons and i received an update of my policy during the week in the mail-Walky agreed value $60000 and GTSR agreed $50000 but the premium has gone up to $1069 each?and thats on extreme limited use.

I guess that's the price you pay for owning 2 very rare cars

I pay $1,200 NZ for my replica agreed value of $35,000 (cost to build replacement)

My walky is insured for $120k and my premium is $1400 per year, on extreme limited use, but with tracking.
