Yes thats right , Since I cant buy one... Iam going to build one. Original as possible. I have a white vl manual , with a rev gauge. That iam going to make into a Walkinshaw. I want to make it look as real as possible ! .Me and my father are going to do all the panel work & spray. He is a good spray painter so no problem there. He knows what his doing with anything to do with cars. Since his a upholsture by trade. The interior wont be a problem.

He said he will make up some original looking door trims & Seats. New carpet throughtout the car aswell. And i'll be pulling the dash out and other bits to paint them Dark grey. Iam not exactly sure of what colour the dash is in original walkys..... I beleive its Dark Grey.. Does anyone have a paint code or just the name of the colour ? As I will be painting it.

What I Really need is someone to take good photos of there Walkinshaw . For example. Good photos of the door trims so my dad can copy the pattern. Also of the seats... Also if you could take some photos of the bodykit .

This would be much appreciated.
(Will keep u posted as progress is made)

Thanks , Cory

Hey mate, welcome to the forums. It’s cool that you want to build your own Walky, but I highly doubt you will get any help from the guys here on how to copy an original

If you want it one that looks totally original you would be better to wait for one with missing tags to come up for sale. They do from time to time and they sell for a lot less than perfect originals. I’ll tell you now that it will cheaper and better than what you are trying to do

However if you really want to build your own I recommend doing something a little different to make it your own. Different paint, wheels, engine etc

That’s my 2c, but at the end of the day it’s your car and you will (and should) do what you want

.. I need to know what measurements of the bonnet scoop. To know where to place it. I Just need the height and width. For example the top of the bonnet scoop to the top of the bonnet the measurement. And same for the bottom. This would be most appreciated. Thank you

Totally agree with what Alex has said. I'm all for replicas, but do a different colour.

I can email you the page which has the dimensions for the bonnet scoop.

Cheers,
Craig
