Yeah i agree, but it would be nice to see the prices on these cars instead of guessing, out of the 10 Aussie cars advertised only two have prices, i believe if the sellers and this site is real about selling put the price on the car instead of fishing, otherwise we can just go to evil ebay isnt that what the do?????

Yes its a nice car, dont mean to be cynical but there are a few other things that raise questions such as the bolts holding the plenum chamber and the new aftermarket horn? Why would these be changed, the cars done less than 20,000kms?

Dont know about the bolts but what makes you say the new horn is an aftermarket one?

The horn is meant to be all silver, and the bolts black and hexagonal!

My car is on musclecarstables and it also has a best offer tag attached.A am for real in regards to selling my car and i have a realistic price attached. This is the best way to filter out the tyre kickers and the people that think they know all about car prices. If someone is genuine they can ring up, ask questions and then they will get a feel for what i want. Its no secret, if you are genuinely in the market. All it takes is a phone call to musclecarstables.

This wasnt intended to your car alone, but out of the 10 only 2 had prices, and if you bought a car mag or went on to carpoint etc, or if your lucky to own one it would give you a ball park of pricing, if every time you picked up a unique cars or on the net, or in this case Musclecarstables you saw best offer etc attached to all the adds that would be more boring and would no doubt entice the tyre kickers, i thought putting a price would get ridd of the tyre kickers and bring on the genuine buyers, please appreciate this is only my veiw

Yeah, look its minor detail, but for a car of <20,000kms you would expect the original horn straight from factory which is galvanised silver all over. Horns supplied by GMH are slightly different as shown in the photo. It depends on the level of detail you are after? Slys car is the best most original I have seen!

yeah maybe one of the previous owners sprayed it coz after time the colour of them tends to dull....who knows

Understand completely. I have also questioned this approach but the answer makes sense. The asking prices of these cars can vary greatly depending on condition and often when prices are advertised ,people begin to make comments. This is very noticable in a rising market. Some people are hung up on values that are a few years old or they are just dirty that they are priced out of the market. If people are interested in what i want for my car.PM me and i will give you a price. Its not something i wish to post as Chester is the one selling my car and i wish to let him do what he does best.

I agree, it stinks! How do you know that your not bidding against yourself. Far better to have a range or some guide then to fish for prices. I cant see many selling like it!

Guys, if you want to know the price, just pick up the phone, it's not rocket science. If you are honestly in the market to buy, it's not hard to find out prices. I rang Chester about selling mine and asked him what he thought it was worth, he told me what he thought, and that was that.
Walkinshaw owners tend to know what these cars are going for anyway.
Not to sure about bidding against yourself:confused::D

All it takes is a phone call and thats what you will get. If someone is cashed up and looking for a walkinshaw. They would see the adds and then two seconds later they would ring for more details.I admit i love seeing the prices for cars but look at it this way. Chester takes all offers and gives them to the owners and they either say yes or not enough. Therefore he is actually letting the buyers set the prices as it should be. After all its only worth what someone will pay. If you put a high price and add ONO you may actually pay more. Best offer is actually a very fair system.

i just wish 85% of the sellers of the walkies on the australian market advertised at the minute would just change their mind and hang on to them for another 10 years or so!!!!!! then watch what the market does..... in other words if you absolutely struggle to find one for sale the one you do see is not going to be cheap!!!! like somebody said before there is too many too choose from at the min and look at the prices they are bringing now so imagine for one min if supply is somewhat depleted because most owners have decided to sit on them but i guess at the min there are a lot of walky owners that think the money they are fetching at the present is excellent and they are deciding to sell because of it.
