Looks like a nice genuine car that someone can enjoy... not many Walkys for sale recently that can be driven

May I ask why you are selling? there seems to be a few for sale, it may pay to wait a few months to get a better price.

How are you, trust me, this was not an easy choice for me to make as I have wanted a walky since I can remember but a business opportunity has been offered to me and it seems to good to pass up. So, unfortunately my pride and joy must be sold to fund this new venture. Lets hope this pays off in the long run and i'm able to search this same site for another. Fingers crossed.

It could be my eyes, but is that ash tray in the left rear door a different colour?

No your eyes, but most VL's were like this from factory.

Good point, even the ashtrays in the 1/18 scale walky's are a different colour. I know that doesn't count alot.

Auction ended at $59,800, with the reserve not met. Was it close to your reserve WALKEY??

Lets just say very, very close. But what made me laugh was the bids didn't keep going yet the moment the auction finished, I got 4 emails offering me all different prices. Is it ebay that people are worried about? is it not a good place to sell? I have a gentleman coming to look at the car this weekend but if not successful, I'll give this forum a bell and see what happens. Cheers.

I have bought 2 cars from e-bay and sold two and none of them went to end of auction. I see e-bay is a great way to advertise, but a serious buyer will make an offer and buy before end of auction.

I agree. Its great advertising for your car but i dont expect a sale. I first saw my walky on ebay 2 years ago. Not one bid first time.He readvertised it with a buy it now price. With 1 day to go and no offers i offered him less and he accepted.

As for selling my car on ebay now. ill avoid doing that again !!!
