Hi guys,'

if you have a look there are two Walky's with Shannons at the moment

one for auction in Sydney on 2 May and the other in Melbourne on 2 June

because they are such different cars the results will probably provide a realistic guide to values

PS: the Melbourne car is mine and I broke into tears at Shannons when I dropped it off

My son came and took me home..........

That's must of been hard!

How much are you hoping for?

Not sure yet but I have put $88,000 on it to take into account all commissions etc

am interested to see how this all pans out - wouldn't sell it cept for the school fees

I went in to visit her this morning - worst thing I could have done

sitting there next to some beautiful cars that are coming in for auction

Just wanted to take her home

aaaah well

along with the other one in Sydney and the one now listed with Chester we should really see what varying examples of these are worth

PS: My son is driving me to the auction on June 2 - should be a good night and I will let everyone know how it all goes

What happened Shakyt, was it passed in? No offers at all? Has the market really flatened out.

Going by the amount of mortgagee sales around my area at the moment, most I've ever seen, I think we're no-where near the end of it just yet.

Nope,

the market han't flattened out for good ones

and the last 6 weeks or so has confirmed mine is a good one - and that is where buyers will go every time

The feedback I have had with mine is that i'ts not so much the km - which seems to be the focus on this site - it is books and the care and love the car has received that determines the buyers thinking

which makes sense hey!!!!!

Mine was passed in - BUT that said I had an ambitious reserve and the final bid was oh so close it wasn't funny

So it goes back on the lot for 6 weeks or so at Shannons at the price that the final bid was for

PS - Shannons have been superb in the way they handled the entire auction and have looked after my car really well

so let's see where we go from here
