There seems to be a point of difference between the first 500 Walkys built and the second batch of 250.
What are the differences?
Are there any differences?
Do the first 500 command more $$$ than the later 250?
Are the body kits made by the same manufacturer?
What is the general consensus on this topic?..........Cheers John

No noticeable differences. The first 500 are considered slightly more collectable due to them being the original run for the homologation Group A rules. I believe a few suppliers changed throughout the 750 cars, but no specific supplier changes between the first 500 and the second lot of 250
I understand that the early cars are supposed to have the small dent type marks on the rear wheel arches to apparently satisfy fitting the larger wheels due to these group a rules. It later changed and was not needed therefore later models do not have the marks. But many on this site have conflicting evidense of this. Mine is a early one yet does not have the marks. Some have later models and they do. So i guess you could say models are not all the same probably due to some old style production line methods.I feel the earlier number ones may be more desirable but not really worth more. Condition, klm and originality controls price. All things being equal i believe walky 001 to be the only real stand out as far as build numbers go.
Actually walky 750 i guess would hold some value too.

I'd say 500 would also....
Other than that, if it has factory mods, and low kms etc, then that raises the value, but thats not build number value.
