Hi all. Recently I saw an ad for a Walky for sale with a build number in the 600s. The ad contained a photo of the HSV build plate and I was surprised to see that it had a build date later than my car, which is number 700. I must admit that I've tried to find the ad again to double check that before posting this question in case my memory is playing tricks on me, but I can't find it again.
So the obvious question is, were the build numbers allocated randomly (aside from, I assume, numbers 501 to 750 having build dates later than 001 to 500), or were the cars given their build numbers in order after completion?
I know the VN Group A numbers were allocated randomly so it may well have been the same with the Walkies.
