Build Numbers List

What happened to the build numbers listing from the old web page layout? Is it around somewhere?

I removed it when I changed the site to the new front page.

I am undecided on weather to put it back, as I have had a lot of complaints about people's build numbers being on there, without their permission.

There is no way for me to verify when people email or call me with build numbers.

I've also had people who have had their walky stolen many years ago call me to say that I had the build no on the site, but they have never recovered the car.

I concur put it in the members section. There must be a couple of thousand walkys getting around at the moment. A number of which have the same build number.

A section to 'out' all the fakes would be good, if at all possible.

I was hoping to find the list again cause I haven't been on walkinshaw.net for ages.

Thought it was a great idea but I suppose a lot of people wouldn't like it either. I think the suggestion that it should be in the member's section is a great idea - now I'm a member haha :)

Also would be very interesting on how many walkie's, that are still alive out there out of the 750 that was built should have a build number count, cant see a problem with just posting build #'s.. I started with help with forum members a VK SS GROUP A build count on the Brockcommodores forum started the count & almost 2 year's its still going out of the 502 that was built there is out there 150 car's from people that have seen at shows or thru mates of a mate or even thru mag's would be interesting to see how many walkie's are dead or alive..

As a new member (as of today) I did have access to the Build Numbers List, now I dont.
I did notice that the numbers on the list repeat.

I think it the repeat was around the 720-729 then it went back to 720 to 729 again? Might be worth looking in to?

I took down the build list a long time ago, due to some people complaining that it was visible to the public. I have since put it into the members section as the members asked for it. It's safer in there too.

It's not paying $50 to see, it's paying to support this site, and you also get a hat & shirt and other benefits of being able to post and see everything on the site.

There is 243 on the list.

Sorry I haven't heard of that car. Which state and when did you sell it?
