I was working today at the Holden HQ and a Purple SS V drove through and gee, I've never been a ute fan but this looked appealing.

The rear quarters are thicker now and the rear lights aren't long and narrow as previous models. The tail light assem is the width of the sedan and looks the part, quad exhausts and 19" finish it off nicely!

i gess this new ute has to grow on me. never really fancied the flared guards and the large holden emblem on the front grille with the ve editions.

The older style ute, that you have above. The rear lines, and height just remind me of a modern Subaru ute!

Can't wait for the Maloo. I think that'll be my next car purchase should it look good, which I think it will.

Wonder whether they'll carry over the LED tail lights into the ute? Would certainly look different.
